Close to the race track.
The vents were filthy. Also the cleaning people dont bring your towels back to you until in the evening...makes it hard to swim at lunch time without towels.

The location only
The entire room no heat ... maid service can around at 8:30 in the morning and never came back to clean room. The bathroom was not cleaned at all. we had to buy Tilex and clorox before using.

Price ONLY!
The hotel was disgusting!! The rooms were nasty. THe only reason we stated after we checked in was because my mother was having a transplant and it was late. Also, the sheets and the bathroom appeared clean. Floors were nasty!!!!

Cheap
It was in a HORRIBLE neighborhood. I did not feel very safe at all in the surrounding area of the motel. Also the bathrooms were very old and did not appear to be very clean.

The room had no plug ins....none anywhere near the bathroom, we had to unplug the lights in order to shave/blowdry hair. The heater didn't work and the cleaning lady never came the 2nd day to tidy up the room. Will not be back, wasn't worth the money at all. Also, very noisy...people live there, it's not just for overnight. Do not bother staying here!!

There were dead bugs, broken lamps, hair in the tub, it smelled of mold and mildew. The staff was unprofessional. The curtains did not cover the windows completely, which let the light from the street lights outside stream through.

The beds were clean.
I did not like the musty smell of the room, the mildew on the coffee pot or that the so-called continental breakfast was only a muffin and coffee.

The location was very convenient...right off of hwy 85 and easy to find. The area itself was kind of beat-down and sketchy, but I loved that it was right off the highway, but only 3 miles from downtown. The bed was much better than I had expected - fairly comfortable and plenty of sheets/covers. A lot of other reviews said that the place felt unsafe and like someone could have come into their room...there were four locks on the door and I felt extremely safe while we were in our room. The staff was fairly good and check-in and check-out were a breeze. We had full control over the AC/heat and it worked very well. The room was the exact temperature we desired. Also, a lot of other reviews complained that the hotel and area was very loud...we literally didn't hear a sound once we were in our room and slept like babies after a long day...we are very light sleepers, so were worried about noise, but it was extremely quiet, even with the highway right there!
The bathrooms were by far the worst part of our experience. The entire bathroom (at least in our room and I'm guessing in others) needs to be redone completely. The ceramic on all of the fixtures is completely wearing down and looks disgusting...the bathroom was not cleaned very well at all, and the shower was noisy, gross, and leaked water everywhere! The entire bathroom floor was flooded as a result and it was pretty gross. I mean everything worked, which I guess is a positive. But I am a total germ-phobe and literally used the toilet once when I absolutely had to because I dreaded going into the bathroom. Also, a couple of our lights were not working and I couldn't find a plug anywhere near the bed for my cell phone charger.
